Although crib services normally take place rather closer to Christmas, host churches may like to consider a special service incorporating the blessing of the cribs and the schools / groups / parishes they represent - equally, when the cribs are returned to their home churches or schools this could be acknowledged in a special service, or form part of an Advent or Crib Service.
Crib services re-tell the Christmas story in a variety of ways - through drama, music, poetry or storytelling.
